Apple announced last week that it has sold its 10 billionth song on iTunes Store. The company identified Louie Sulcer of Woodstock, Ga, as the purchaser of the 10 billionth song, which was Johnny Cash's “Guess Things Happen That Way.” As a result, Sulcer is the winner of the iTunes Countdown to 10 Billion Songs contest, and he will receive a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card.

“We're grateful to all of our customers for helping us reach this amazing milestone” said Apple's VP of Internet Services, Eddy Cue, in the announcement.

The top five All-Time highest selling songs in iTunes are Black Eyed Peas' “I Gotta Feeling” (#1) and “Boom Boom Pow” (#3), Lady GaGa's “Poker Face” (#2), “I'm Yours” by Jason Mraz (#4) and “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay (#5).
