First App-Enhanced Alarm Clock, From iHome

The world's first 'app-enhanced' alarm clock is now available from iHome.  The new iA5 combines previous speaker/dock/alarm clock technology with the iHome+Sleep app, which, having had over 200,000 downloads in its first month, is one of iTunes' most popular apps.

The iA5 can sync clock time with your iPhone or iPod Touch, and allows the user to gradually wake up and go to sleep to music and movies, not to mention post and read updates to social networks both before bed and in the morning, check weather forecasts and even track sleep statistics right from bed.

The product also features powerful, clear and deep Reson8 speakers.  It also includes Sure-alarm, which prevents missed alarms due to phone calls or app interruptions.

The iA5 functions as a dedicated alarm clock even when the iPhone or iPod isn't docked, with a programmable snooze time (1-29 minutes) and a line-in jack for other audio devices.  The product costs $99 and the iHome+Sleep app is available for free from the App store.
