Sprint’s Clearwire Corp., a provider of "4G" wireless service, has opened new retail stores in five states. According to the Kansas CIty Business Journal, the stars are located in Hawaii, North Carolina, Washington state, Illinois and Texas.
The CLEAR WiMAX service is currently available in 27 markets, where it runs around 100 retail locations, some of which are located in Best Buy and RadioShack locations. The company plans to make service available in 80 markets by the end of 2010.
