IBM, Microsoft, GE, Nokia and Google were among the companies with a hand in the electronics business who made the top ten of Interbrand’s latest ranking of the best global brands.
IBM came in second to Coca-Cola, with Microsoft, GE and Nokia taking the second-through-fifth spots, as all five spots remained the same from the 2008 rankings. The brands were ranked in terms of global brand value.
Other technology companies in the top 50 included Google (7), HP (11), Cisco (14), Samsung (19), Apple (20), Sony (29), Canon (33), Dell (35), Nintendo (39 and Philips (42).
