TomTom has teamed up with Locutio Voice Technology and Twentienth Century Fox to bring the actual voice of Homer Simpson to all TomTom devices via download. This voice download includes all standard directional language, but adds a few quirky pieces of advice from Homer to liven up any car ride.
Actor Dan Castellaneta, who has voiced Homer on the show since 1989, provides the voice through TomTom as well.
TomTom and other GPS providers offer many celebrity and character voices so users can personalize their navigation experience. Homer Simpson joins a growing number of voices that are available from TomTom, which includes Kim Cattrall, Gary Busey, and Mr. T.
