Despite reports last week that it was considering dropping plasma from its TV lines, LG has denied that any such move is in the offing.
According to the British Web site Tech Radar, a senior executive with the company "has no intention to withdraw from the Plasma TV market," and is continuing to develop new technology involving plasma panels.
The only major TV manufacturers still in the plasma business are Panasonic, Samsung and Hitachi, as well as LG.
