Blockbuster made the rumors official Tuesday, announcing a new set-top box player that will compete with others like it from Netflix and other providers.
Produced in conjunction with 2Wire, the 2Wire MediaPoint digital media player allows users to rent movies from Blockbuster without either going to a store or using the company’s movies-by-mail service.
