HP is at work on a touchscreen notebook computer, the Wall Street Journal reported last week. The notebook follows the company’s Touchsmart computer as well as touchscreen phones that are also forthcoming.
The touchscreen notebooks will reportedly arrive before the end of the year, although the name, price and availability of it have not yet been announced.
HP is the world’s leader in PC market share, with around 18 percent of the market as of the end of the third quarter.
