Garmin has announced its latest mapping product, the GPSMAP 640, which includes maps of both roads and bodies of water. The rugged, waterproof device has an MSRP of $1,199.99.
“Blending the best aspects of our popular portable marine units with the intuitive user interface of our automotive flagship line of Nuvi navigators, the GPSMAP 600 series is the perfect tool in the boat and on the road,” the company’s vice president of worldwide sales, Dan Bartel, said as part of the announcement.
The company also announced the GPSMAP 620, which will be available in markets outside the U.S.
