Lake Success, NY—Canon USA launched the EOS Rebel T3 EF 18-55 IS II lens kit in three new color variations—red, brown and metallic gray, in addition to the standard black color, available exclusively at the Canon online store (shop.usa.canon.com/t3).
The Rebel T3 features a 12.2 megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor with a Digic 4 image processor for a quick response, ISO settings of 100–6400 for shooting in both bright and low light, Full HD video with expanding recording time, and in-camera movie editing.
Other Rebel T3 features include: a high-speed 9-point autofocus system utilizing an f/5.6 cross-type center point; a 63-zone, dual-layer metering system for accurate exposures; 3-frames-per-second continuous shooting for capturing action; a 2.7-inch LCD monitor with live-view function; a new feature guide that offers short descriptions of each function; and a quick control screen for ease of operation.
