Kodak Picture Keeper: Keeping Your Pictures Safely Stored

The new Kodak Picture Keeper is being touted as the “world’s first all-in-one USB device with embedded software to protect pictures and other irreplaceable files.” You can choose from four different storage capacities, the largest being the Kodak Picture Keeper Pro, which holds around 250,000 photos.

All four Picture Keeper devices are ready to go out of the box, with no software to install. You simply insert the USB cable for the Picture Keeper Pro drive into any USB port on your computer, click “Start Backup” and Picture Keeper automatically finds and saves all the your pictures. Subsequent backups will be faster than the original because Picture Keeper will only copy the newest images when it is used again to save recently added or changed pictures.
