Watch the whimsical new trailer for “Beasts of Southern Wild,” featuring the harrowing tale of a young girl who goes to extreme lengths to protect her family and home. The Sundance Film Festival favorite stars newcomer Quvenzhané Wallis and is already generating plenty Oscar buzz.
Based on the trailer’s stunning visuals and beautiful soundtrack, Benh Zeitlin’s masterpiece seems deserving of the enthusiastic praise. The movie is set for release June 27.
