Man, I wish I had checked my local television listings yesterday.

Monday night brought the premiere of “Costas at the Movies” on the MLB Network. In this short series, sports broadcaster Bob Costas, a skilled interviewer, will talk with the stars and directors of classic baseball movies. Last night featured Tommy Lee Jones offering his memories on “Cobb,” which aired immediately after.

The series will run for the next four weeks. Here’s what’s on tap for the show, which airs Monday at 8 p.m. I’m committing this schedule to memory and I suggest you do the same. (H/T, “The Hollywood Reporter”)

I hope there’s another season so Costas can talk to Tom Berenger about “Major League.”
