Def Leppard, which claimed the title of Biggest Band in the World for at least a few years in the 1980s, are planning a short, nine-show residence at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel this spring. During the run of shows, the band will play its most famous album, 1987′s “Hysteria,” in its entirety for one of the sets, Rolling Stone reported.
The “Viva Hysteria!” residency, which will also include rarities and songs from the band’s other albums, may also lead to recording sessions for a new album, the report said.
The band is still using its five-man lineup that’s been in place since Vivian Campbell replaced the late Steve Clark as lead guitarist in 1992. But will they wear their old clothes and haircuits too?
