Napster will follow Facebook to the big screen this year, although rather than a lavish Hollywood feature directed by David Fincher, “Downloaded”- which tells the music downloading service’s story- is a much lower-budgeted documentary that will debut at the South x Southwest Film Festival in March. VH1 produced the film and the director is Alex Winter- Bill of “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” fame.

If it does well, could a feature film be far behind? Justin Timberlake could play Parker again, and I’d love to see who gets cast as villain Lars Ulrich.
