Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs

“jOBS,” the indie film in which actor Ashton Kutcher is portraying Apple founder Steve Jobs, debuts this week at the Sundance Film Festival. A release date of April 19 has been announced.

Open Road Films will release the movie, directed by Joshua Michael Stern, which stars Kutcher as Jobs as a young man and co-stars Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak. Here’s the first clip from the film, released Thursday by Entertainment Tonight. In it, the two Steves talk about the potential for personal computers:

“jOBS” is not to be confused with another Jobs biopic, being written by Aaron Sorkin, and adapted from Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography of Jobs.
