Are you a Downton Abbey fan who has only seen the first season, because that’s all that’s streaming on Netflix? Looks like those in that boat- this author included- are out of luck.
According to Gizmodo, PBS and Amazon have reached a deal in which Amazon Prime Instant Video becomes the exclusive streaming provider of the popular series.
The first two seasons are available starting in June, with the third- currently airing on PBS- will arrive in June. Yet-to-air seasons are part of the deal as well.
This means Netflix will lose its rights to the first season later this year.
