“Room 237,” a documentary focusing on Stanley Kubrick’s film “The Shining” and the many conspiracy theories surrounding it, played at film festivals all through 2012, and is finally set for a theatrical release.
The trailer doesn’t show much- in homage to the trailer of the original Stephen King adaptation by Kubrick, it cycles critics’ quotes before recreating the movie’s famous “river of blood”:
“Room 237, directed by Rodney Ascher, looks into every conspiracy theory from the belief that Kubrick faked the moon landing to that weird scene with the guy dressed as a dog to questions about the movie’s plot, especially the ending.
The movie is set for a March release.
