A full trailer debuted this morning for “Oblivion,” a new sci-fi thriller starring Tom Cruise. The film, set in a post-apocalyptic future in which humanity has abandoned Earth, looks heavily influenced by the “Alien” and “Matrix” films, as well as both versions of “Solaris.”

Also on board are Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Nikolaj “Jaime Lannister” Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo. The director is Joseph Kosinski, best known for “Tron: Legacy.”
This one is scheduled to arrive April 12.
