Alison Brie will probably still have two jobs next season
If it’s not the best possible timeline, it’s one of the better ones. NBC announced Thursday that Community has been renewed, for a 13-episode season. The move represented a reprieve for fans of the show who, when it was pulled from the schedule last year, feared was done for good.
The news capped a busy day for NBC, which earlier had announced the renewals of Parenthood and 30 Rock, the latter of which for a 13-episode final season. The fate of Parks & Recreation remains undecided.
Meanwhile, the network said it had re-signed three stars of The Office- John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and Ed Helms- for next season.
