I’m confused. Is the main character in “Sexy Evil Genius” three distinct things, like she’s “sexy,” “evil,” and a “genius”? Or do “sexy” and “evil” modify genius, like the character wouldn’t be “sexy” and “evil” if she weren’t a Mensa member? I have not been this screwed up since the “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” controversy of 2011.
Katee Sackhoff in Sexy Evil Genius
Unfortunately, there are few clues to my punctuation hell in the trailer to “Sexy Evil Genius,” where the title character (Katee Sackhoff) lures her ex-lovers into a bar for a “sadistic game of revenge,” according to Collider. Directed by Shawn Piller, a TV veteran, “Sexy Evil Genius” marks his feature directorial debut.
The film will be available on DVD and digital download staring April 9th. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer, which features (a bearded) Seth Green and William Baldwin, who’s still looking for a hit since “Crime Scene: Scene of the Crime” was abruptly cancelled about five years ago.
