Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s Wrecking Ball Tour, which rocked arenas nationwide throughout the winter and spring, will continue this August with a stadium run throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Following a jaunt to Europe this summer, the Boss and Co. will hit a variety of baseball, football and even one auto racing venue. The tour kicks off at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. (August 18), followed by stops at Toronto’s Rogers Centre (August 24), New Brunswick’s Magnetic Hill (August 26), Vernon, N.Y.’s Vernon Downs Raceway (August 29.)
The tour will continue in September at Philadelphia’s Citizen’s Bank Park (Sept. 2), Chicago’s Wrigley Field (Sept. 7) and Washington’s Nationals Park (Sept. 14) before, naturally, closing with a three-night stand at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium (Sept. 19, 21, and 22.)
For a man who’s, literally, the same age as my dad, Bruce has lost just about no ability to consistently bring it in a live setting. For ticket availability dates, go to the Boss’ official site.
