There have been a couple of controversial calls during this year’s Fall Classic, but the last trailer for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is a certified hit.
Katniss and Peeta have become a symbol to millions of people, giving them hope. The government doesn’t like that, and wants to quell this rebellion before it starts. “The Hunger Games” raked in $155 million in its opening weekend, and review outlets including The New York Times consider “Catching Fire” to be the better book.
Expectations are understandably high, and nothing short of an actual apocalypse should stop this tale from being one of the holiday season’s biggest blockbusters. “Catching Fire” arrives Nov. 22 starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, and Donald Sutherland as President Coriolanus Snow.
