With the start of the 2014 International CES just a few days away, the organizers Thursday sent out their annual press release listing all of the celebrities scheduled to make appearances at the event. As usual, it’s a rather eclectic list.
Boldfaced names taking part in the Las Vegas confab range from music stars like Nick Cannon, Pharrell Williams, Janelle Monae and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, to actors Maria Menounos, Olivia Munn, Amy Schumer, Kristen Bell, Sawyer from Lost ( Josh Holloway) and Marg Helgenberger, to athletes like NBA champion Robert Horry, MMA star Quentin “Rampage” Jackson and NFL quarterback-turned-newly minted broadcaster Tim Tebow. World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen is also scheduled to appear.
That’s to say nothing of the numerous well-known corporate executives set to appear, including Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich and Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai. And Fleetwood Mac will perform at the annual Monster awards event.
Some will host events at the show, others will participate in panels and some will merely make brief booth appearances on behalf of companies they endorse. Of course, in past years numerous celebrities have shown up as a surprise, without any prior announcement.
