Just a week after announcing a late-September premiere date for the third season of David Simon’s Treme, HBO showed the first trailer for the season Sunday night, between episodes of True Blood and The Newsroom. Here it is:
While the first words of the trailer are “let’s do something different this year,” the show looks much the same as its first two years- large helpings of music, drama, crime and Mardi Gras Indian costumes. The show returns Sept. 23.
