Having played all over Europe, the English pop-punk band New Order is coming to North America for the first time since 2005. The seven-city tour will start this October in San Fransisco and will continue Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, New York City, Chicago and Toronto.
Not joining New Order on stage is the original bassist Peter Hook, who has made his disapproval of his fellow band mates well known. In regards to not joining the band on stage, Hook has commented “New Order without Peter Hook is like Queen without Freddie Mercury, U2 without The Edge!,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Only time will tell if the other members Sumner, Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman will thrive, though we suspect they’ll be greeted by a host of fans.
