Iron-Man just can’t seem to keep his hands out of anything these days. Robert Downey Jr. and his wife and co-producer Susan have taken their infinite imaginations, created a “supernatural horror comedy”, and sold it to Warner Bros. What else do we know about this wonderfully strange project? Oh, that’s right, Derek Connolly is going to go ahead and write the screenplay. For those who don’t quite remember what he’s done, there’s a little thing called “Jurassic World” and “Safety Not Guaranteed” that he may have written -just a little thing though, nothing huge. The other thing is the name, Cloaked.
So, what should we expect from this craziness that is the brainchild of RDJ? The word is something very close to “An American Werewolf in London“. Knowing the mind of the crazed Iron Sherlock, it’ll probably be something more along the lines of “Monty Python” meets “Chucky” with a twist of every werewolf movie in existence. This could actually be fun. The last thing that Downey may have done that wasn’t on par with a lot of the critics was probably his role in “The Soloist”. Good flick, but probably not what people were expecting.
Now someone has given Downey the pen and paper and let him create his own Frankenbaby. Ladies and gentlemen, please try to keep your sanity inside of the vehicle at all times; this is bound to be one hell of a ride.
