How I Met Your Mother may have had its ups-and-downs quality-wise over the years, but one thing that’s been top-notch over the years has been its music, whether well-chosen indie rock or original songs.
This fall will see the release of an original soundtrack, featuring the latter, Alan Sepinwall reported this week at Hitfix.com. Yes, all the Robin Sparkles hits will be there, along with “You Just Got Slapped,” “Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit” and other hits.
The album, coming out in September, will feature 20 tracks, lasting a total of 40 minutes. According to Sepinwall, that means the epic, 25-minute “Ted Mosby is a Jerk” song will not be included.
