Lena Dunham’s Girls, perhaps the year’s most controversial new TV series, will have a short offseason. The series will return in January of 2013, after the first season began in April.
Not much has been announced about plot or casting, although Donald Glover will reportedly appear on the new season.
The show’s early return was announced at the Television Critics Association press tour, as reported by Alan Sepinwall. HBO also said that its comedy/drama Enlightened will be back in January.
