Alex Gibney is probably America’s most prolific documentarian. Since his Oscar-winning “Taxi to the Dark Side” in 2007, Gibney has directed films about Hunter S. Thompson, Jack Abramoff, Eliot Spitzer, Ken Kesey, and Steve Bartman.

The HBO-produced documentary will show at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.
