A Larry David-fronted, improvised project is coming to HBO- but it’s not a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
A new movie, which was originally planned as a theatrical feature starring David, will instead air on HBO. Greg Mottola (“Superbad”) will direct, with Jon Hamm and Michael Keaton rumored among the cast along with David itself.
It’s unclear whether or not Curb will ever return for a ninth season. The show last aired in 2011, but has gone at least a year between seasons every year since 2005.
