Netflix’s new look, updated logo included, arrived on its desktop interface last week. Now, it’s come to the service’s iOS and Android mobile apps, too.
Most of the changes to the interface are subtle, but the big change is the logo itself: Inside the app, the logo is now red-on-black, rather than the familiar white-on-red. The app icon on the iPad is now red-on-white- likely to confuse the heck out of my four-year-old next time he tries to fire up a cartoon- and the refresh came to the iPhone too, a few hours later.
The iPad version, dubbed Version 6.0, promises “faster startup for video playback,” “UI refresh” and “bug fixes.”
Netflix, as of Wednesday night, had not made any official announcement of the changes.
