Wow. How artistic of you, Michael. That’s some nice symmetry.

Here’s your box office report for this past weekend, which saw “Transformers: Age of Extinction” march to the top of the box office in a virtually competition-free weekend–unless you were located in a major city that had a thriving indie film scene. Otherwise, Michael Bay’s latest thing was the new release in town. We’re sorry.

As always, all figures are estimates and should be treated with respect. Don’t be gossiping about these figures behind your back or making goo-goo eyes at the foreign numbers. Be nice, take them out to dinner, and show a little class.

1.) “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” $100M. I don’t have the strength. Let’s move on.

2.) “22 Jump Street,” $15.4M. I think I’d pay $100 to have Ice Cube come to my house and curse at me for 15 straight minutes. Money well spent.

3.) “How to Train Your Dragon 2,” $13.1M. Thought this would pick up when the kids left school, serving as a further proof that I would make a lousy studio executive.

4.) “Think Like a Man Too,” $10.4M. Took a major tumble after debuting last week at number one. But that matters little. According to Box Office Mojo, the film has already made double its production budget.

5.) “Maleficent,” $8.2M. Passed the $200 million mark, which begs the question: Can you remember a movie that made as much money with so little oomph?
