When David Mamet’s play “Sexual Perversity in Chicago” was adapted to the screen in 1986, its title was understandably changed to “About Last Night…” Now, another adaptation is on the way, and the ‘Perversity’ will stay.
According to Deadline, Steve Pink (“Hot Tub Time Machine”) is set to direct the new film, with Michael Ealy and Kevin Hart in the roles originally played by Rob Lowe and Jim Belushi. Bachelorette‘s Leslye Headland is the writer.
Mother’s, the bar that was central to the action in the first movie, is still standing, but it’s unclear whether it will be used as a location.
