Ron Palillo, the actor who played class clown Arnold Horshack on the popular 1970s sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter, died Tuesday at the age of 63. He died of a heart attack, according to various media reports.
The actor, a native of Connecticut, was also a noted stage actor and playwright, while also accumulating numerous credits as a voice-over actor and making occasional TV and film appearances as an adult.
Palillo is survived by Joseph Gramm, his partner of more than 40 years.
