Oscar winners Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are making a movie about Jay-Z’s upcoming Made in America music festival in Philadelphia, the New York Post reported.
The festival takes place on Sept. 1 and 2 and showcases 20 popular artists. Included in the lineup are Drake, Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Rick Ross, Run-DMC, Miike Snow, Odd Future, and Janelle Monáe.
Jay-Z will also serve as the film’s producer, along with Grazer and Steve Stoute. Howard is directing the movie from the singer’s perspective, telling the story through Jay-Z’s eyes.
