“Noah,” Darren Aronofsky’s big budget biblical epic which has already staked a release date two years away, officially has a leading man.
Russell Crowe will star as the title character in the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters March 28, 2014 and is described as “a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark.” The film was written by Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by John Logan, who also wrote Crowe’s hit “Gladiator.”
Crowe’s been in a bit of a career rut, but one of his best roles was in “Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World,” so perhaps a return to the boat will serve him well.

Attention Darren Arnofsky, I have a monumental offer for Russell Crowe,
that will also benefit your Noah picture. This is in connection with actress
Donna D’Errico, and Mel Gibson. I have designed and registered a real
300-room Noahs Ark resort. Donna will call me when she gets back from
her Mt Ararat expedition. I don’t know how to contact Rusell. Can you give
me that info, or give him this information? William Kunsman Pl. Grove Utah
