Fox Nabs Coveted Michael Schur/ Dan Goor Cop Comedy

After a competitive bidding war among the four major broadcast networks, Fox has landed Michael Schur and Dan Goor’s new cop comedy with a pilot production commitment, Deadline.com reported.

Known for their TV hit Parks & Recreation, co-creator/ exec, producer/showrunner Schur and executive producer Goor, have come up with a new show about a diverse group of detectives in a precinct at the very edge of New York City.

The single-camera comedy, from Universal Television and 3 Arts Entertainment, will be co-written and executive produced by the duo along with 3 Arts Entertainment’s David Miner.
