The star of The Sopranos is returning to HBO as the star of a new show called Criminal Justice. The show, which has been ordered for a pilot, is being co-written by heavy-hitter writers Steven Zaillian and Richard Price.
Actors Rizwan Ahmed, Bill Camp, Peyman Moadi and Poorna Jagannathan are also on the show, which is based on a BBC series. Gandolfini will play a low-rent lawyer who represents a young Pakistani-American accused of murder in New York.
