Late-night talk show queen Chelsea Handler has signed a “seven-figure deal” deal to write a book spoofing the insanely popular “50 Shades of Grey” trilogy. The “New York Post” also reports that Handler’s book will be entitled “50 Shades of Chartreuse: This Time It’s Personal.”
This kind of sexual openness is familiar terrain to Handler, a best-selling author who burst onto the literary scene with “My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands.”
Even though her NBC sitcom fizzled, Handler continues to be a raging success, popping up in movies, writing these delightful books, and running the show at Chelsea Lately, which moves into cushier digs next month.
