Famous for songs like “Black Hole Sun” and “Spoonman,” Soundgarden hasn’t released an album since 1996’s “Down On the Upside” . . . until now.

“King Animal” will come out Nov. 13 and their song “Been Away Too Long” set to debut in late September. This is following the success of their hit “Live to Rise,” which was featured on the “Avengers” soundtrack.

Letting fans know what to expect from the grunge, alternative band, guitarist Kim Thayil told Rolling Stone that the album”re-establishes that we still rock, we’re still heavy and we’re still a little weird.”
