The trailer is here for “42,” the long-awaited movie about America’s greatest act of sports heroism: Jackie Robinson’s breaking of baseball’s color line with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947.
The film, which comes out next April, stars Chadwick Boseman as Robinson, Harrison Ford as general manager Branch Rickey. Brian Helgeland wrote and directed, and the trailer features anachronistic but geographically and thematically appropriate music from Jay-Z:
