Rebel Wilson Sells New Comedy to Universal Pictures

Rebel Wilson looks like Hollywood’s newest breakout star. The Australian-born actress has just sold an untitled comedy to Universal Pictures, which she will write, produce, and star in, reports Vulture.

Wilson seems to be everywhere these days. She went from playing a part in “Bridesmaids” to being the bride in “Bachelorette.” She also starred in “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and “Ice Age: Continental Drift.” This month she’s stolen scenes in “Pitch Perfect” with her memorable one-liners.

Now she’s making her own movie, but first will appear in Michael Bay’s “Pain & Gain” alongside Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson. Looks like there’s no stopping this diva.
