Zach Braff Sells New Comedy to ABC

Zach Braff (Scrubs) is returning to television with a new half-hour comedy series Garage Bar. Braff and 20^th Century Fox TV have sold the show to ABC, reports Deadline.

Braff will write, direct, and executive produce Garage Bar in the same style as his 2004 hit feature “Garden State.” The show will center around a group of friends who start to experience the ups and downs of fame when one of them becomes a pop star.
