According to Deadline New York’s Mike Fleming, Bradley Cooper is in talks to star in Cameron Crowe’s upcoming movie. A deal hasn’t been made yet, but it’s only a matter of time before it happens, Fleming writes.
Emma Stone is already on board for the untitled project, which Fleming reports will have a tone similar to “Jerry Maguire” and “Almost Famous,” two of Crowe’s most popular films before he went full-fledged maudlin.
No surprise that Stone, a first-rate actress, was hired. Cooper, a serviceable actor, seems to benefiting from the buzz over his performance in the upcoming “Silver Linings Playbook.”
Oh, if we could all be hired based on word-of-mouth.
