The E! clip show The Soup has had some great fun the last few years making fun of the Discovery Channel reality show Gold Rush, in which a group of miners go digging for gold. Specifically, the term used by the show for the hole where they go digging- “the glory hole”- has been mocked by The Soup in many a montage, due to the term’s other, more Urban Dictionary-ready meaning.
However, the show’s stars, Jack and Todd Hoffman, got their revenge on Wednesday’s episode of The Soup, dropping in on Joel McHale to let him know what they think of his mockery:
