Arnold Schwarzenegger will return to the big screen playing his classic role of Conan the Barbarian, reports Deadline. Universal, who has world rights on the film has waited until the actors second term as Governor of California concluded in 2011 before furthering the project.

‘The Goverrnator’ made his acting debut in 1982 as Conan the Barbarian, sparking his career, which was amplified shortly thereafter with his starring role in the Terminator series.

The Legend of Conan, which will feature the aged Nordic warrior nearing the end of his life and is slated for 2014.

Are you kidding me? Who can possibly forget Hercules in New York? Conan was way later.

That’s right the comment by lnstig8r that Arnold was in Hercules in New York, I can still remember the scene of him flexing his muscles infront of the store window from the sidewalk.
Anyway I’m glade to hear they’ll make a Conan the Barbarian film using Arnold and it will fit perfect with the ending of his original film with Conan sitting on a throne wearing a crown growing old…….plus anything will be better then this new Conan they resently made…what rubbish.
