Next spring’s series finale of The Office, it appears, is the last we will see of Dwight Schrute.
NBC has declined to go forward with The Farm, a proposed spinoff that would focus on Rainn Wilson’s Office villain and his family’s beet farm, Wilson announced on his Twitter account Monday.
The show was in development with Wilson starring and Paul Lieberstein (Toby Flenderson) as show-runner.
