Levon Helm Documentary to Hit Theaters Next Year

Documenting seminal singer- drummer of The Band, Levon Helm, “Ain’t In It For My Health: A Film About Levon Helm,” will be released in theaters next year, reports Rolling Stone. 

The film documents the artist celebrating his 2007 comeback album Dirt Farmer and his creative process through his follow-up album, Electric Dirt in 2010– the Grammy winner for Best Americana Album.

Helm passed away at 71 years old on April 19 in New York of throat cancer.
