Pop group TLC is returning with their first album in over ten years, reports Rolling Stone.
The group’s two surviving members, Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas and Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins made the announcement at the MOBO Awards in Liverpool last week that they were in the process of piecing ideas together. In addition, they have plans to embark on a tour in support of the album and a VH1 biopic of the group is also currently in the works.
“We’re going to still sound like TLC, evolving to whatever level we need to be at ths time,” said Watkins in response to questions about the new material. “You have to find yourself first and then you find the path and then you have an album before you know it.”
The group’s third member, Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes died tragically in a car crash in Honduras in 2002, six months before the group released their last album ‘3D.’
